The Prevention of Child Trafficking and Enslavement
Child trafficking remains a critical global issue, impacting children who are vulnerable to exploitation for forced labor, adoption, and other forms of slavery. Despite efforts to combat these crimes, trafficked children often face long-term abuse and deprivation of their basic rights. At UNICEF in IISP MUN 2024, delegates will discuss the impact of child trafficking on children’s rights and work on creating comprehensive policies to protect children from exploitation.
