  5. Engineering Design optimization
  6. Reliability modeling & testing
  7. Artificial Intelligence & Robotics
  8. System Safety & Security

“The existing world invented by Scientists while a new world created by Engineers”, therefore engineers to be creative, they need to develop new ideas and concepts. These ideas and concepts are to be validated through computations and experimentations. The economic growth of society and nation largely depends upon the development of new technologies and products that suits to ever changing demands of consumer. The engineers need to cope with the tremendous pressure created by ever changing consumer requirement on the Industry. Engineers need to enhance their creative skills to meet out the challenges being faced by Industry.

This conference focuses on the engineers in development of affordable technologies and concepts to fulfill the consumer requirements. It is important for the engineers to lookout for research and development opportunities. The pace of development needs to be enhanced to balance the reduced lifecycle of technologies and products. Using these technologies as tools we have to breathe life into the product to make it commercially viable with a futuristic outlook without sacrificing quality and durability. While developing new technologies and concepts, engineers should ensure the protection of environment, recyclability and products’ reliability.

The main goal is to promote an updating of knowledge and to facilitate the interaction between students, academicians and industrialists to exchange the ideas, state of art research and development practices and identify research needs and opportunities in the emerging fields of science and engineering for future technology. It will include keynote addresses and insightful invited talks by eminent researchers. Academicians, researchers, and scientists are invited to present their research outcomes through oral/ poster presentation in the conference. This conference covers a wide range of interdisciplinary topics on various aspects of advanced materials, optimization techniques, soft computing, energy and environment. The conference provides opportunities for the delegates to exchange new ideas and application experiences, face to face.

About RIT

About Roorkee

Roorkee came into prominence when the first engineering college in India was established here by the British Empire in 1847AD to train its army personnel. The college was named as the Thomason College of Civil Engineering. It was given the status of the university in 1948 to become the first engineering university of independent India. In 2001, its status was changed from University of Roorkee to IIT Roorkee. Roorkee has emerged as one of the leading educational hubs in India.
