Roorkee Institute of Technology, Roorkee has been collaborating with 𝐓𝐂𝐒 (𝐓𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬) to provide its students with the 𝐓𝐂𝐒 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟗. The training program has been conducted online in the previous years, however, this year, in 2023, the program is being held in the offline mode.
It is noteworthy that Roorkee Institute of Technology, Roorkee is the 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗨𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗸𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗖𝗦 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲. This initiative showcases the institute’s commitment to providing its students with the best possible learning experience. The decision to conduct the program in the offline mode has been taken to ensure that the students receive hands-on training and can interact with the trainers and other students in a more effective manner.

The TCS Youth Employment Program for 𝗕𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝗦𝗘 (𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿), 𝗘𝗖𝗘 (𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿), 𝗘𝗘𝗘 (𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿) & 𝗠𝗖𝗔 (𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿) students at RIT Roorkee have successfully completed its first month of training. The program aims to provide comprehensive training to students in Aptitude, Reasoning, PDP, and Soft Skills. 𝐌𝐫. 𝐀𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐤 𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐲, a renowned consultant trainer, motivational speaker, and soft skills trainer, has been leading the program.
The first month of training focused on Aptitude, Reasoning, PDP, and Soft Skills. These areas are essential for students to develop their overall personality and become industry-ready. The program included classroom lectures, group discussions, practical sessions, and assessments to ensure students grasp the concepts effectively.
The Aptitude training covered various topics such as numerical ability, percentage, ratio and proportion, time and distance, and more. The sessions were designed to enhance the analytical and problem-solving skills of students. The Reasoning training aimed to improve the logical and critical thinking of students. The topics covered include coding-decoding, blood relations, puzzles, and more.
The PDP (Personality Development Program) training was focused on improving the overall personality of students. The sessions covered various topics such as communication skills, public speaking, self-confidence, leadership, and time management. The practical sessions provided students with the opportunity to improve their public speaking and presentation skills.
The Soft Skills training aimed to enhance the interpersonal skills of students. The sessions covered various topics such as teamwork, conflict resolution, customer service, and more. The practical sessions provided students with the opportunity to work on their communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
As a result of the training received through this program, students have been able to perform well in the recruitment processes of various top MNCs, including TCS. The training provided by the program has helped students secure placement in various domains such as IT, finance, operations, and more.
Overall, the first month of the TCS training program has been a success. The students have shown tremendous improvement in their aptitude, reasoning, and soft skills. They have also developed their overall personality and have become more confident in their abilities. The program has been designed to provide students with the necessary skills to succeed in their future careers. The remaining two months of training are expected to be equally engaging and beneficial to the students.
